Fine!
You'll be happy to know that we are being coddled, spoilt and more than
indulged at The Naramata with Lynne and Peter, appetizers, after we
arrived, on the patio overlooking the lake, Goils
sipping a Blanc de Noir from Poplar Grove while the Lads had a
selection of Bowmore, Lagavaullin and then the high octane Amrut, 61.9%!
Dinner was a butterflied leg of lamb on the bbq, skewered spuds and
Greek salad, all washed down with a Burrowing Owl Cabbage,
2007, followed by a Fairview Cellars, 2007 Cabbage Premier Series,
14.5%, followed by fresh peaches, grown on the property, garnished with
raspberries and followed by a bottle of Oremus Szamorodni, 2008,
Botrytis Miraculum, Tokaji, Peter carried back from
Hungary this past May/June. After breakfast we will head into Penticton
for the Farmer's Market and then uninterrupted wine-tasting! Fine!!!
Fondestos to one and all from Coriandre, The Naramatians and
Patrizzio!!!
I am leaving New West momentarily to head for Penticton. I will confer with the powers that be and get back to you.
Hi Zircon!
Trust that your road trip is going well. We arrived here yesterday to
stay with Barb/Lynn, a couple we met in Mexico in 2011. Will be leaving
later this morning to head to Naramata for two nights, returning to
Vancouver on Sunday morning. Just wondering if
you and Jan, or some combination of same, might be interested in trying
to arrange to meet somewhere along the line, for a meal or a coffee for
a visit, brief or otherwise. Not sure what your time constraints,
relative to the Triathalaon, will be but we are
relatively free and flexible. Will probably do a bit of wineasting as
time/inclination allow. Anyway, let us know what you think and we'll
plan accordingly. Ring us on Cora Lee's cell. Cheers,
Patrizzio!
