IIDD, Try: Sunday, September 16th

Death is a friend of ours; and he that is not ready to entertain him is not at home. -Francis Bacon, essayist, philosopher, and statesman (1561-1626)

Hi Patrick,

We're very sorry to hear that your Mom finally succumbed. We had heard it from Corinne last week, and I was meaning to call you with condolences this morning. We're at Anne's and will be attending Basil's memorial this afternoon. Hopefully we'll be able to find you in the crowd for a chat. I'm off to Peru for the week tomorrow morning.

I don't think we're going to have time for an Island visit, as our schedules are quite full in the next few weeks. The grapes are looking beautiful. We finished netting them rhis week to minimise the birds' share. Talk to you later. Peter

Hi Jugos and LL!

Thanks for the condolences. I remembered, once you mentioned it, that Corinne had called. Sorry that you won't be visiting Madroña Manor but certainly understand, with all your jet-setting and vineyard demands, and high maintenance schedule for the Lovely Lurking Lady of The Naramata. Look forward to catching up a bit, later today. Please pass along fond regards to Anne. Have to attend to an overly demanding feline of my own now! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Pic: Not sure if I sent this along. Taken day before Stefano returned to Old Oak. Others are of Clarence Mills, carver at GI. Introduced myself to him last Wednesday as Bev/Kev, Perthites, took us to The Sandbar for dinner that evening. Stefano had chatted with him in July about carving a kangaroo totem!

Hi Kids!

Trust everyone is well and enjoying their various junkets! Thanks again for the wonderful evening, Joanne. Please pass along some of the snaps to Joan, Brenda, Dio and Santa Lucia. Enjoyed meeting your lovely daughter and son-in-law, as well as Gayle, (I think!), of course. Cheers, Patrizzio

This should be it! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Hi Sarge!

Please pass this along to Corina Corina and ask her to send me a message so that I can have her email. Thanks. Cheers, Patrizzio!

PS:  Please ask Marvinator to send along some snaps of the toy cars so I can send them to Greg.
Hi Cora Lee!

Trust all goes well. Grogg thinks I'm at Madroña Manor already! Perhaps you can give him a shout to put his mind at rest! Lynne and Peter will be at Basil's Memorial service.

I've included material for Mom's Memorial in case something happens to my mail. Off to take Chloe to pick up Maya's car. Much warm love, Your Adoring Scullion, Patrizzio!
Just checking to make sure that all is well for your settling in. Is hot tub all set? You should enjoy that every day!
Let me know if you need to chat about the tub/requirements etc-don't want you getting Legionnaires disease!! (apparently the main risk to not having some chlorine...)
I can call you later if you like-we are 9 hours ahead.
Have my trusted France calling card.
It would be about 10:30PM here, so 1:30PM in Nanoose, although you will probably be out cycling/strolling etc..
If not, will give you a shout from jolly old London..
We'll be hanging out in the room finishing our wine tonight before flying to London tomorrow.
Cheers, Grog
